ISEClub LOGO is OUT!

This logo can be seen at the banner for most of our pages.

Discription:

Black and orange are chosen for this logo as orange is one of the school colors, as we are part of the big NUS community, it is good that we recognize our root. Moreover, bright orange signifies energy. Being the most active department in the FoE, the ISE student can be best represented by orange. Black is subsequently chosen because they are the best combination. Black also represents mystery, i.e. there is always something more to be discovered from a ISE student.
I did not explicitly "place" the "ISE" anywhere in my design, instead, I use shapes to represent each of the letters. "I" forms the head and body of the flying bird; "S" is the one of her wings while "E" forms the other wing. In this wing, I have successfully and creatively incorporated into the design the main word “ISE”. Hopefully, when people see the logo, the reaction goes: " Oh~ I see. This is "I", this is "S" and that is "E". Very interesting!"
The overall shape of this design is a flying bird, or rather, a bird taking off her fly. This symbolizes the wish that all ISE students could all be "high-flyers" after they graduate. On the other hand, the design could also be interpreted as a "torch", which signifies light and hope, because we are all young and promising future leaders!
This is representative of us ISE  students as ISE, being the best department in the FoE (or so we deem ourselves as), will definitely be high-flyers upon graduation!
